I’ve been passionate about writing, drawing and worldbuilding since I could pick up a pencil. I’m inspired every day to use my creative voice to tell stories that matter.
When I was seventeen, Sera and I started this project with no idea where it was going. The story unfolded for us in a way that nothing else has. To date it is the most inspiring and resilient work that I’ve had the privilege to undertake, and I am always excited for what comes next.
Sera Moore
I've always had a love for mythology and the ancient worlds of lore. Any book by Rick Riordan was on my shelf, devoured in hours of getting it, and followed with hours of research into the pantheons. I was inspired from a young age to not only read but also write. Teenage Sera was always in the middle of a writing project.
I have loved getting to build this world with Sam over the past decade, and see our characters face unimaginable challenges. Our writing styles work together seamlessly, and I get a kick out of throwing a curveball at Sam during a writing session! Sorrel has a special talent for knowing when Arcas is going to start something he shouldn't. Like stairs.
Fun fact: In the first draft, Sorrel was a lone nomad that hadn't spoken for years until she stumbled upon Arcas!
